Site downtime earlier this morning

For the past several hours, you may have noticed the site down or behaving badly. I made a failed attempt at updating the site with our latest version. There were issues I wasn't able to resolve quickly, so I rolled the updates back and will attempt it again in the future. No data was lost and the site should be operating smoothly now.
